The Fifth International workshop on Climate Informatics was held at our usual - scenic and friendly - location, namely at the NCAR Mesa lab in Boulder, CO. It took place on Sept 24-25, 2015 and was followed by a 1-day climate informatics Hackathon event on Sept 26.
Both events were a great success. There were 84 registered participants and the agenda featured 7 invited talks, two panel discussions, 37 posters - presented both as 2-min highlights presentations and at a poster session with delicious food - and a community-building hike on Fri afternoon. Among other topics, at this year's workshop the area of deep learning made a big entry to the field of climate informatics.

We hope to see you all at CI 2016 in Sept 2016!
